funny stuff. and I'm so with you. I'm working on my fire breathing dragon speach right now. My girl is still little but is going to be trouble I just know it!

Corinne

And one day our kids will appreciate our dragon breaths... it's almost a rite of passage!

I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU WROTE THIS FOR EVERYONE TO READ !
The next story you'll be telling is about my trip to the drug store to purchase cotton balls....

I LOVE THIS STORY. Love it.

Parents are supposed to be dragons. I, for one, will not neglect this aspect of my job description.

Hilarious! I love it! Happy SITS Saturday!

I am over from Momalom. I think it is certainly a balance of discipline and giving in, but I almost want my daughter to fear me a little, especially, when I can't control what she does and where she goes.

Thanks for sharing.

Jenn Calling Home

Sounds like something I would have done (or did... I tend to forget). Great post! I'm so glad you stopped by so I could discover you and the Five for Ten. I'll be back!

Angela

How funny. I can remember tons of stories of getting busted for stuff like that. I already know that I will be just like my mom and Belle will fear me a little.

Howdy from the D-List party. Loved reading through your site, but this post hit home for sure. My mom was a lot like that, controlling my every move. I couldn't see concerts with friends AND their parents, go on dates, or be anywhere without checking in. The result: lots of lying and sneaking. Luckily, I didn't get caught. I can just imagine the humiliation. I'll be a little less strict (more trusting of my kids) but will also be sure to check up on them too. :-)
